Hunting Together RPG Money Making — Gold Route & Costs

Editorial contact: Raymond

Gold data verified:

Gold in Hunting Together RPG comes from the monsters you already hunt: zone quests, gear liquidation and the Merchant economy bonus. This page maps the three loops, the costs that eat the income, and which figures the developer actually publishes. Checked November 1, 2026.

Quick answer

Farm where your quest already sends you, then sell before you keep hunting

The cheapest gold is the quest you pick up on entering a zone: it pays for kills that the hunting loop produces anyway. The second cheapest is the bag you forgot to empty — dropping potions without a vendor trip just fills storage. Paid income boosts are not required for either loop.

Loops

The three Hunting Together RPG gold loops

Zone quest board

Community-tracked

Accept the local kill-count quest and clear the same monster the zone spawns anyway.

The quest pays gold, potions and EXP for kills you were already going to make, so it stacks on top of normal hunting instead of replacing it.

Drop liquidation

Community-tracked

Sell surplus gear to the village vendor with the multi-select and sell-all options, keeping locked items.

Every monster that drops gear is worth more than the raw kill: bag space is the limit, not the drop rate.

Merchant class bonus

Community-tracked role description; the class itself is official

Run the farming loop on a Merchant instead of a pure damage class.

Merchant is the class whose identity is economy rather than damage output, so it is the first pick when gold is the goal.

Quest loop

What the repeatable zone quest actually pays

Each zone posts a kill-count quest, and community guides report the common shape as forty of the local monster. The quest is reported to restart by itself after completion, so you keep earning while the same loop continues. When you move zones, abandon the old assignment and take the local one so the reward matches the monsters in front of you.

Reported figures from community guides; the developer publishes no quest table. Treat them as the shape of the reward, not a guaranteed rate.
ZoneQuest targetReported rewardBasis
Starting forest40 rabbits180 XP, 20 gold, 5 mana potionsCommunity-tracked
Late-game snow zone40 Ice Golems237,750 XP, 1,800 gold, 5 potionsCommunity-tracked

The gap between the two rows is the whole story of gold farming in this game: the same forty kills pay about ninety times more in a late zone than in the starting forest. Progressing your level is therefore the largest income upgrade available, and the fast leveling route is also a money strategy.

Selling loop

Turning a full bag into gold without losing gear you need

  1. 1. Lock what you keep

Use the vendor screen item lock on weapons and armor you plan to use on another class. Locked items stay out of bulk sales.

  2. 2. Filter what drops

The combat settings loot filter decides which rarities auto-pick up. Narrow it when the bag fills before the quest completes.

  3. 3. Sell in bulk

Multi-select plus sell-all converts the common surplus into gold in one trip instead of one item at a time.

  4. 4. Size the bag

A bigger bag means fewer town trips per session. The official pass price is 149 Robux; the pass is optional, not required to start earning.

Costs

Where the gold goes: the five recurring sinks

Community figures are labeled; the bag-slot row is the only one taken from the official Roblox API.
SinkWhat it costsBasis
Red health potions in bulkA batch of 200 to 300 bottles is reported to cost about 1,900 gold from the potion merchant.Community-tracked
Stat and skill resetThe village Stat Master is reported to charge 2,500 gold per reset and to waive the fee once a class reaches level 99.Community-tracked
Warp pillar travelFast travel to an unlocked pillar is reported to charge a small gold fee per use; pressing H returns you to town.Community-tracked
Refinement attemptsEach attempt consumes ore, and a failure from +9 to +10 is reported to drop the item to +8 unless a protection stone is used.Community-tracked
Extra bag slotsThe official Roblox API lists Extra Bag Slots at 149 Robux. Community pages that still quote 199 Robux were written before the price changed.Official Roblox API, checked October 31, 2026

The pattern: potion stock and travel are unavoidable, resets and refinement are decisions. Delay refinement until the gear is worth keeping, and delay resets until you know the stat direction you want — both are covered on the refinement page and the stat builds page.

Merchant build

If you farm on a Merchant, build for clear speed

The Merchant fights in melee with tools and sits at B tier on the tier list because the ranking measures overall role value, not income. For farming, the community priority is attack power first, attack speed second, then survivability, with a critical alternative for players who prefer burst.

A utility class built around the game's economy and preparation rather than raw frontline damage.

The full stat direction per class, including the Merchant alternatives, is on the stat builds page and the class comparison is on the tier list.

Data boundary

What this page will not tell you

  • No gold-per-hour, gold-per-kill or vendor price list is published, so none is quoted here.
  • Quest rewards, reset fees, potion batch prices and warp fees come from community guides, not from the developer.
  • Whether the Merchant gold bonus is a multiplier or a flat bonus is not published; treat any percentage you see elsewhere as unverified.
  • Roblox API readings are blocked from some regions; the bag-slot price above is the last verified official reading, dated on this page.
Common questions

FAQ

How do you make gold in Hunting Together RPG?

Three loops feed the same wallet: the zone quest board for the monsters you already kill, liquidating surplus gear at the village vendor, and running the loop on a Merchant when gold is the goal. None of them needs a paid item.

How much gold per hour does Hunting Together RPG pay?

No source publishes a gold-per-hour figure, and this page will not invent one. Income depends on the zone, your kill speed and how full your bag gets between vendor trips, so the only honest planning number is your own session.

Should I sell gear I might use on another class?

Lock the pieces first. The vendor screen is reported to include an item lock alongside multi-select and sell-all, so you can keep cross-class weapons and armor while clearing the common drops that fill the bag.

Do drop potions make gold faster?

They raise the item drop rate, which raises how much gear reaches your bag in the same session. The boost only pays off if you actually empty the bag at a vendor afterwards; potions plus a full bag equals no income.

Is the Extra Bag Slots pass worth buying for gold farming?

It is the only pass that directly increases how much loot one trip can carry. The official API lists it at 149 Robux as of October 31, 2026; community pages still quoting 199 Robux are out of date.

Does the Merchant class earn more gold than other classes?

The official listing describes Merchant as economy and utility, and community guides report a gold advantage while farming. No multiplier is published, so treat the size of that advantage as unconfirmed and pick Merchant for the playstyle as much as the income.
