Hunting Together RPG Leveling Guide — Fast EXP, Party Bonus & Level 99
Editorial contact: Raymond
Three systems decide how fast a character levels: the party you join, the repeatable zone quest you loop, and when you burn an EXP potion. This guide separates the official rules from the community-tracked numbers, labels every figure, and shows where trackers still conflict. Data checked October 31, 2026.

Leveling speed is mostly routine, not raw damage. A six-player party in the same zone, standing inside an auto-restarting quest loop, converts every kill into quest progress and party bonus at the same time; potions multiply whatever that loop already produces.
Official rules vs community numbers
- Official: party EXP is shared at any level gap, level 99 is the named Beta milestone, and code potions are described as one-hour boosts.
- Community-tracked: the 2% per member party bonus, the level-gap penalty, the quest XP values and the shop EXP potion description. These come from community guides that cite creator gameplay videos, not from the developer.
- Where the two sets disagree, both stay visible on this page instead of being silently merged.
What a full party adds (community-tracked)
| Party size | Reported EXP and drop bonus |
|---|---|
| 2 | +4% |
| 3 | +6% |
| 4 | +8% |
| 5 | +10% |
| 6 | +12% |
- Within 10 levels of each other: full bonus (community-tracked).
- Wider gaps: reported penalty of 1.5% to 5% per level of difference, capped at a 30% reduction (community-tracked).
- The party leader has to switch sharing on, or members earn nothing from the kills (community-tracked).
- Official counterweight: the Roblox FAQ says EXP is shared at any level gap, so the penalty table above is community reporting, not developer text.
The repeatable 40-kill quest (community-tracked)
| Quest | Kills | EXP | Gold | Items |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starting forest (rabbits) | 40 | 180 | 20 | 5 potions |
| Snow golem map (Ice Golems) | 40 | 237,750 | 1,800 | 5 potions |
Worked example: one Ice Golem quest in a full party
Community-tracked base: 237,750 XP for 40 kills. With the reported +12% party bonus: 237,750 × 1.12 ≈ 266,280 XP for the same loop. If a 2X code potion is active while you finish it, that hour doubles; the potion does not change the quest itself.
237,750 × 1.12 ≈ 266,280
Both inputs are community-tracked and shown so you can replace them with your own observed numbers; they are not official rates.
How EXP potions fit the loop
- Code potions are described in the dated listings as one-hour boosts, with 2X variants. Redeem them only when you can stay for the covered time.
- The shop Yellow EXP Potion is described in community guides as +50% for 30 minutes. The two descriptions have not been reconciled, so this page keeps both readings visible.
- Purple potions (attack and cast speed, about 30 minutes) raise kill speed, which indirectly raises quest throughput; that description is community-tracked.
- Plan the stack with the boost calculator and check the dated codes page before a long session. Codes last recorded .
Tune the farm loop before adding potions
- Toggle automation with F on PC or the sword icon on mobile; open the settings through the gear icon (community-tracked).
- Switch targeting to skills only once a skill can one-shot the mob, and filter out Leader, Mini-Boss and Boss targets while under-geared so the AI stops dragging you into elites.
- Set the attack radius circle around a dense spawn cluster and use position lock instead of roaming if knockback keeps resetting the pull.
- Clerics can enable Support Mode so the AI heals and buffs instead of attacking (community-tracked).
What happens at the level cap
- Official listing text: level 99 on any class awards the Beta Tester title; level 99 on three different classes unlocks the Limited Ice Cat, described as staying after launch.
- Community-tracked: reaching the cap unlocks an extra passive system that lets a maxed class share passives with other classes, with up to six slots mentioned and examples such as bonus dodge or movement speed from a maxed Thief.
- The four-hour level 1 to 99 claim circulating in creator videos is a claim, not a measured benchmark on this site.
The fast-leveling routine in order
- Join a party of at least two and keep everyone inside a 10-level spread.
- Confirm the party leader switched EXP sharing on.
- Accept the zone quest that matches the monsters you are already farming.
- Tune auto-combat targeting so the loop does not wander into elites.
- Redeem and burn EXP potions only while the loop is running.
- Move zones when the quest stops matching the local monsters, and press R to pick up the new one.
FAQ
What is the fastest way to level in Hunting Together RPG?
Stack three things in one session: a party of two or more, the zone repeatable quest that auto-restarts, and an EXP potion used only while you are actually killing. Community guides report a full party adds up to 12% EXP and drop rate, and the late-game 40-kill quests are listed at 237,750 XP.
Do EXP potions stack with the party bonus?
The dated code listings describe EXP Potions as one-hour boosts, and the community-tracked party bonus adds up to 12% on top. This site did not run an in-game stacking test; treat the combined figure as a planning estimate, not a measured number.
What is the level cap in Hunting Together RPG?
The Beta listing text uses level 99 as the milestone for the Beta Tester title, and community guides describe 99 as the cap that unlocks an extra passive system. The developer has not published a separate cap table.
What do I get for reaching level 99?
The official listing text says level 99 on any class awards the Beta Tester title, and level 99 on three different classes unlocks the Limited Ice Cat reward, described as staying after launch.
Does the party bonus work if our levels are far apart?
The official FAQ says party EXP is shared at any level gap, so you can hunt together regardless of level. Community guides add that staying within 10 levels keeps the full bonus and wider gaps cut it by 1.5% to 5% per level, capped at a 30% reduction; that penalty table is community-tracked, not published.
Is the four-hour level 1 to 99 route real?
The claim comes from a community creator video and is not something this site measured. Treat it as an upper bound on how fast a prepared account can move with potions, quests and a group, not as a target you should expect on a fresh character.
